Competitive Salary:
Band 6 - $ 98,867.71 to $107,872.39 p.a. dependent on experience + 11.5% superannuation
Location:
Corporate Centre in Sandringham, with the flexibility to work from home

Our Opportunity

An exciting opportunity exists to make a tangible difference to our beautiful city by ensuring critical drainage services run smoothly.

You will have the chance to work in partnership with our key service provider on a unique, integrated contract designed to get holistic maintenance outcomes for the community.

You will also set the scope and engage contractors to deliver drainage improvement programs designed to complement maintenance and keep our stormwater network in optimal condition.

To be successful in this role:

You will

  • Be tertiary qualified in Civil Engineering, or equivalent Engineering qualification recognised by the Institution of Engineers Australia
  • Have contract management experience in asset maintenance and construction
  • Be community focussed and driven to get great customer outcomes.
  • Have an improvement mindset, analysing data and proactively identifying opportunities to do things better
  • Be excellent communicator (written and verbal), including the ability to communicate complex issues to a wide audience.
  • Have specialist knowledge of drainage maintenance techniques.

Mandatory pre-employment requirements:

  • Be willing to undergo and complete a satisfactory criminal history check
  • Provide or obtain an employment-based Working with Children check
