Competitive Salary: Band 8 - $133,367 p.a.+ 12% superannuation
Location: Council office in Sandringham, with some flexibility to work from home

About the Role:

The Coordinator Business Development provides leadership across business systems and development, Support at Home Packages Intake, service marketing and communications, work health and safety, and operational process improvement to support a contemporary, efficient and financially sustainable aged care service.

The role works collaboratively across operational teams to ensure systems, processes and resources effectively support growth, compliance, service accessibility and positive client outcomes.

You will be responsible for:

  • Support the development of reporting frameworks, effective systems, service performance measures and operational analytics.
  • Lead and support a small team and work collaboratively with other operational leaders to improve service integration, data quality, reporting capability and client experience.
  • Lead and oversee intake and access for Support at Home Care Packages ensuring timely, response and client-centred service access.
  • Oversee marketing and communications strategies and initiatives for Bayside Care and Support to support service and employee growth and community awareness.
  • Ensure work health and safety practices are innovative, proactive and embedded within operational systems and service delivery processes.

Key Selection Criteria:

  • To be successful in this role, you will bring the following skills and competencies:
  • Degree qualified in business, project management, health and/or a relevant field, ideally further skills and knowledge would be gained through further formal qualifications in the field of community services or in management.
  • High level understanding of the needs of older people and their carers in a home or community setting.
  • Experienced leader in change management with an ability to support, negotiate and influence staff and key stakeholders during rapid rates of growth and change.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with an ability to convey information to different audiences using a range of mediums.
  • Demonstrated business systems development.
  • Sound understanding of budgeting, accounting, and financial procedures as they relate to CHSP, HACCPYP, Support at Home services.

Mandatory pre-employment requirements:

  • Be willing to undergo and complete a satisfactory criminal history check.
  • Provide or be willing to obtain an employment-based Working with Children check.
