Employment Status: Two (2) Full time positions.
Days & Hours of Work: Wednesday - Sunday, 38 hours per week. Rostered day off every four weeks.
Competitive Salary: 5A $83,038.80 (Up to $127,212 inclusive of penalty rates) per annum + 12% superannuation.
Location: Corporate Centre in Sandringham.

About the Role:
This unique role will contribute to the safety and amenity of the municipality, through conducting high visibility patrols over the weekends. The successful candidate will be trained to proficiently perform Local Laws duties to meet community expectations. You'll engage with the community, address concerns, provide guidance, and ensure compliance with legislation through education, enforcement, and collaboration with internal and external departments and other agencies.
Your duties include detecting and enforcing breaches related to local laws, animal management, littering, and responding to enquiries. You'll work with the public, businesses, and residents to achieve positive compliance outcomes.
To be successful in this role:
To be successful in this role, you will bring the following skills and competencies:
Certificate IV Statutory Compliance or Diploma of Justice or similar qualification will be considered
· Strong customer service focus, with well-developed verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
· Demonstrated ability to manage conflicting priorities
· Self-motivator with well-developed conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
· Experience in enforcement or willing to learn related regulatory fields, to confidently educate and enforce Councils legislation responsibilities
