2 days, totalling 15.2 hours per week (can be across 2 - 4 days)
Competitive Salary:
Band 7 - $114,501.15 p.a ($45,800.46 pro-rata for 15.2 hours p/w) + 12% superannuation
Location: Corporate Centre in Sandringham, with some flexibility to work from home

About the Role:

With strong leadership and commitment across our organisation, we’ve made significant progress towards our DEI aspiration of being a diverse, equitable and inclusive organisation that is a great place to work and where everyone feels respected and valued.

 This role will maintain the momentum where DEI practices are built into our BAU and identify strategies and initiatives to build the culture and practices in the areas where we still have progress to make to achieve our DEI goals. Supported by the Strategy, Culture & Capability team, the role designs, develops, implements, and measures our DEI aspiration and its associated action plans, as well as provides DEI expertise to individuals and teams across the organisation.

You will be responsible for:

  • Facilitating, the organisational approach to achieving organisational Diversity, Equity and Inclusion outcomes in partnership with the People & Strategy BPs with a particular focus on leveraging our requirements under the Gender Equality Act to build intersectional DEI initiatives and outcomes.
  • Coordinating the DEI Advisory Group and networks.
  • Providing coaching and advice that is based on leading research, evidence and Bayside’s aspirations, as well as respond to ad-hoc queries relating to culture and DEI.

Mandatory pre-employment requirements:

  • Be willing to undergo and complete a satisfactory criminal history check
  • Provide or obtain an employment-based Working with Children check
