About the Role:
The Community Grants Officer leads the delivery of Council’s Community Grants program, ensuring equitable grant management for impactful community outcomes. The role's primary function is to manage the administration of grant applications through Council’s grant management system (SmartyGrants), ensuring the effective the distribution of funds through Councils and application assessment, acquittal and evaluation processes.
Additionally, the role requires developing new community partnerships, as well as fostering existing relationships with community organisations, that support the progressing of Council's key strategic priorities. You will also contribute to developing plans, policies, and procedures aligned with community wellbeing projects.
