Competitive Salary: Band 4 - $72,2796 p.a. + 11.5% superannuation
Location: Two roles available with limited flexibility to work from home

About the Role:

In preparation for transitioning to the Support At Home program, the Home Care Packages Support Officer is a new role that will help us continue to provide a service that keeps client needs at the centre of what we do.

The Home Care Packages Support Officer will assist care managers in the coordination of services to home care package clients to help them live at home as safely and independently as possible.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to client/family telephone queries and completing home care packages administrative tasks
  • Coordinating brokered services and equipment purchases as authorised by care managers and completing associated administrative tasks
  • Resolving service delivery issues such as client not answering door for scheduled services
  • Inputting accurate service notes and information into Council's client management system in a timely manner.

 Mandatory pre-employment requirements:

  • Be willing to undergo and complete a satisfactory criminal history check.
  • Provide or obtain an employment-based Working with Children check.
